Landmines,explosives seized from Sarenga forest area

A sackful of explosives,two directional landmines,firearms and a 9 mm pistol were recovered from Sarenga forest area in Maoist-hit Bankura district,police said on Friday.

A sackful of explosives,two directional landmines,firearms and a 9 mm pistol were recovered from Sarenga forest area in Maoist-hit Bankura district,police said on Friday.

The seizure was made when police chased a man who was on a motorbike last night and he dumped the sack containing the explosives,they said.
