Welcoming Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s meeting with Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari in Russia,the JKLF on Thursday sought involvement of Kashmiris in the dialogue process.
The meeting between Singh and Zardari in Russia is a good omen,but for the resolution of Kashmir issue,which is not a boundary dispute between the two countries,the involvement of Kashmiris is a must, JKLF Chairman Mohammad Yaseen Malik said in a statement here.
He said India and Pakistan cannot address the issue on their own as it involved the future of crores of Kashmiri people.
Talks and meetings are good steps but for the success of the dialogue,it is necessary to institutionalise the process, he said.
