Finance Minister Arun Jaitley was on Wednesday discharged from a hospital where he had undergone an elective laparoscopic procedure for diabetes management last week.

Later, Jaitley (61) attended a meeting of the Union Cabinet, which was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
