Sadhvi Pragya Singh,one of the accused in the 2008 Malegaon bomb blast case,has approached the Bombay High Court seeking bail on health grounds. Singhs brother-in-law Bhagwan Jha had claimed,at a press conference on July 11,that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer,which is in its third stage. A special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court had on June 28 rejected Singhs bail application,in which she said she needed to undergo an operation for lumber spondylitis.

The bail application has been posted for hearing on Wednesday.
