A Mumbai court on Wednesday ordered Airport police to file an FIR against self-styled god-woman Radhe Maa for carrying ‘Trishul’ on a flight. The court also ordered police to register a case against CISF personnels, local police station officers and Jet airways management in this regard.

A complaint regarding the matter was registered in Mumbai’s Andheri court last year.

In July last year, Radhe Maa was accused in a dowry-related complaint by a Mumbai woman. The complainant Nikki Gupta had accused Radhe Maa of inciting her in-laws to demand more dowry, and of forcing her to work at the ashram, where she was physically assaulted.

On 6 August 2015, the Mumbai Police declared her to have absconded in this alleged case of dowry harassment, and issued a lookout notice against her.

Actor Dolly Bindra had filed a criminal case of threatening and sexual harassment against her.
