After a successful Monday, Delhiites with odd car registration numbers will step out today, the second real test day for the AAP government’s odd-even traffic policy to counter extreme pollution levels in the world’s most polluted city.
If the plan, currently in its trial phase, is successful and pollution levels see a reduction the government could well extend the scheme.
While vehicle users did express their disappointment at having to leave their personal vehicles behind every alternate day and make use of public transport, several were happy about the reduction in travel time and traffic, specially at traffic junctions.
