Baba Ramdev holds special yoga session for CISF personnel, families

The sessions, that began on Sunday at a force camp in Ghaziabad, were conducted to raise awareness on yoga, health and related aspects, a senior Central Industrial Security Force official said.

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Monday concluded a special session of yoga exercises for over 1,000 troops and families of central paramilitary force CISF.

The sessions that began on Sunday at a force camp in Ghaziabad were conducted to raise awareness on yoga, health and related aspects, a senior Central Industrial Security Force official said.

The CISF contingent was led by force chief Surender Singh.

Union Home Ministry has directed all central paramilitary forces to imbibe yoga as part of their regular training regime.

CISF, tasked to secure major civil airports in the country, has recently begun guarding Ramdev’s Patanjali Food Park in Haridwar in Uttarakhand after the government ordered its deployment for the facility.
