Bairabi-Sairang Rail Project: Full List of Stations 

The Bairabi-Sairang railway line project features four stations: Hortoki, Kawnpui, Mualkhang, and Sairang-Sihhmui. This rail link project will boost Mizoram’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) while providing the cheaper mode of transport. This railway project falls under the administrative control of the North East Frontier Railway (NFR) zone.

• The Bairabi–Sairang New Line Project spans 51.38 km and built with an estimated cost of approximately Rs 8,071 crore.
• The Project phases 4 sections feature 48 tunnels (12.8 km total length), 55 major bridges, 87 minor bridges, 5 ROBs and 6 RUBs.
• Iconic Bridge No. 196, standing at 114 metres, this bridge is taller than Qutub Minar by 42 metres, showcasing world-class engineering.

• Railway tunnels are adorned with murals reflecting Mizo heritage, turning travel into a cultural experience.
• Enhanced rail connectivity will reduce transportation costs, boost trade and stimulate commercial growth in Mizoram.
