Ernakulam–Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express: South India’s upcoming Vande Bharat train is set to cut travel time by over an hour. This new semi-high-speed train will run between Ernakulam and Bengaluru. It will also enhance connectivity between two states – Kerala and Karnataka. This new train will be maintained and operated by the Southern Railway (SR) zone.

The Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat train will reduce the travel time between two distances to just nine hours. This train will make travel faster, safe, and more comfortable for thousands of Malayalees, especially IT professionals and students who commute between Kerala and Bengaluru.

Train number 26651/26652 Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru-Ernakulam will run via Coimbatore, Palakkad route. During its journey between Ernakulam and KSR Bengaluru, this Vande Bharat train will stop at seven stations. These are: Krishnarajapuram, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad and Thrissur.
Train number 26651 Bangalore-Ernakulam Vande Bharat Express will depart from KSR Bengaluru at 05:10 hrs to reach Ernakulam at 13:50 hrs. In its return journey, train number 26652 Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will leave Ernakulam at 14:20 hrs to reach KSR Bengaluru at 23:00 hrs.

Indian Railways will soon start the ticket booking process for the Ernakulam–Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express. The passengers will be able to book train tickets both online and offline.
For online booking, travellers must have a valid IRCTC user ID, while offline bookings can be made at the nearest railway reservation counter.
