Psycho killer among four held with weapons

A psycho killer and his three associates were arrested with weapons in state capital.

A psycho killer and his three associates were arrested with weapons from a locality under Bypass police station area in the state capital,a senior police officer said. Acting on a tip off,the police arrested the psycho killer Amit alias Avinash Srivastava and his three associates from near a temple under Maharani colony and seized three pistols,six rounds of ammunition and a haul of looted ornaments,the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Manu Maharaj told reporters.

Srivastava,claiming himself to be the son of an Ex-MLC Lallan Srivastava had shot dead one Moin Khan alias Pappu Khan by pumping 32 bullets in the latter’s body few years ago,he said. The accused persons had also looted ornaments from a woman and her son at gun point and kept the two at hostage in Laxminagar locality,Maharaj said. The arrested criminals have been identified as Prince Kumar alias Chhotu,Ravi Kumar Gupta and Munni Devi,besides Srivastava,the SSP said.
