IPL cricket betting racket busted in Bangalore

Two persons were arrested on Sunday in Bangalore for allegedly running a betting racket in connection with the IPL match.

Two persons were arrested on Sunday in Bangalore for allegedly running a betting racket in connection with the IPL match between Kings XI Punjab and Deccan Chargers,said police.

N Vikas (40) and K M Muralidhara (49) were arrested following a raid at an association club located on the St Marks road on Saturday,police said.

A sum of Rs 2,55,370,three mobile phones and a colour TV were seized during the raid,they added.

However,they persons managed to flee the scene.

Vikas and Muralidhara have already been booked for a similar offence in the past,police said
