The Congress’s social media outreach across the city for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections will focus on a complete “recall of significant decadal events” in the Capital — from the alleged apathy of BJP MPs towards the citizens during the Covid-19 pandemic to the condition of ‘model villages’ adopted by them — said sources.

In addition to several visits to assess the state of civic amenities across the city, Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena has recently launched the ‘Dilli Gramoday Abhiyan’, which seeks to qualitatively transform the state of the city’s countryside.
“Since the BJP is able to somehow counter anti-incumbency and the lack of performance of its MPs by changing them, we will target the entire party’s apathy and not just of individuals who got elected on its tickets. “The BJP has been spreading lies and falsehood about the party’s 10-year misrule at the Centre, and non-existent development works,” said Delhi Congress president Arvinder Singh Lovely, adding: “We will tell people about the ground reality of stalled development works and inaction and incompetence of the seven BJP MPs in Delhi… It will also inform people about the five Nyay Guarantees of Shri Rahul Gandhi, which he has promised during his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.”
