'Trump does not know what he's going to do tomorrow': Army Chief on unpredictability of future

In an address before students in Madhya Pradesh's Rewa, Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi remarked about the unpredictability of future threats. Speaking at TRS College in Rewa, Dwivedi said that it wasn't known what the future will look like. "Even Mr (Donald) Trump probably doesn’t know what he’s going to do tomorrow," he remarked. He also listed learnings from Operation Sindoor and spoke about information warfare. "During Operation Sindoor, there were rumours that Karachi had been attacked. We, too, heard such reports and wondered where they came from and who started them. That’s how fast and confusing things can get," he said. Read more

Three days before the Bihar Assembly Elections, JD(U) candidate Anant Singh has been sent behind the bars following the alleged murder of 75-year-old Dularchand Yadav. The FIR registered in connection with the case stated that Singh allegedly shot at Yadav, before he was being thrashed by others and then run over by an SUV. The incident happened during a clash between supporters of the JD(U) and the Jan Suraaj party on October 30. Singh was arrested late on Saturday night, along with two of his aides. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kartikeya K Sharma said Anant Singh was present at the spot when the violence occurred and has been identified as the prime accused and arrested accordingly. At least 10 hospitalised in mass stabbing incident in UK

In a mass stabbing incident in the UK, at least 10 people have been hospitalised, nine of them with life-threatening injuries. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has called the attack "appalling" and expressed concern for those affected. Heaviest satellite launched from Indian soil successfully placed in orbit

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scripted history by placing in orbit the heaviest communication satellite to be launched from the country atop a homegrown 'Bahubali' rocket on Sunday. The communication satellite CMS-03, weighing 4,410 kilograms was flown on a LVM3-M5 rocket. CMS-03 is a multi-band communication satellite and would provide services over a wide oceanic region, including the Indian landmass, according to ISRO. ISRO Chairman V Narayanan said the launch vehicle successfully injected the communication satellite in the required orbit. The "4410 kg satellite is precisely injected," Narayanan announced. Meta denies using porn to train AI models

After Striker 3 Holdings, a company that makes adult videos, filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against Meta, the social media giant has refuted the allegations and has urged a US district court to dismiss it. The social media giant has claimed that the adult content may have been downloaded by a few of its employees for 'personal use'. Striker 3 Holdings, which says it makes high-quality, ethical adult videos, alleged that Meta illegally used pornographic material to train its AI models. The Facebook parent said there was no evidence that it directed employees to illegally torrent about 2,400 adult movies owned by Strike 3 for the purpose of AI training. There are “no facts to suggest that Meta has ever trained an AI model on adult images or video, much less intentionally so,” Meta argued. Read more
