However, it’s important to note that biometric features like facial photographs, iris scans, or fingerprints require verification. One must confirm biometric information by visiting an Aadhaar Enrolment Centre.
So, one can update their identity and address proof documents for free on the myAadhaar portal until September 14, 2024, by uploading scanned copies of the original documents. Post the deadline, the fee for online updates will be Rs 25 and for offline updates, Rs 50.
