
UP BEd JEE Registration Deadline 2025: The Bundelkhand University has extended the application deadline for the Uttar Pradesh Bachelor of Joint Entrance Examination (UP BEd JEE) 2025. Earlier, the registration deadline was March 8, but now the University has extended the application till March 25. Students who are yet to register can visit the official website and apply. According to the schedule, the UP BEd JEE admit card for 2025 will be available on April 14, 2025. Candidates can download their UP BEd admit card using their login credentials, which include the registration number and date of birth.
To be eligible for the UP BEd JEE, entrance exam, candidates must possess a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree from a recognised university, achieving at least 50 per cent marks in fields such as Science, Social Sciences, or Humanities. For candidates with a degree in Mathematics or a Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (BE/BTech) in Engineering, or any equivalent qualification, a minimum of 55% marks is required.
Candidates belonging to the SC (Scheduled Caste) and ST (Scheduled Tribe) categories who have completed their undergraduate or postgraduate degrees from any legally established university, or hold a BE or BTech degree with a specialization in Mathematics or Science, or any other equivalent qualification, are also eligible to take the exam.

Step 3: Fill in the details asked, like personal, education, professional, along with supporting documents in a prescribed format.
Step 4: Pay the online fees via net banking, debit or credit card or UPI.
Step 5: Download the form for future references.
The application fee is Rs 1400 for General and OBC category applicants. SC/ST applicants from outside UP also have to pay Rs 1400, while SC/ST applicants from UP need to pay Rs 700.
The UP BEd exam, identified by plate number JEE 2025, is tentatively scheduled for April 20, 2025. The exam will consist of two objective-type question papers. The marking scheme will be consistent with previous years, where candidates receive two marks for each correct answer and a deduction of one-third of a mark for each incorrect response.

Meanwhile, in a major policy reversal, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is set to restore one-year B.Ed and M.Ed programmes, nearly a decade after doubling their duration to two years. The change, part of new draft regulations, will take effect from 2026-27, once again offering shorter routes to teaching careers for eligible candidates.
The draft regulations 2025 were approved at a recent general body meeting of the NCTE and will be made public soon to seek feedback.
