TNDGE Board Class 12 Result 2024: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) announced the Class 12 HSE result 2024 today. The scorecards are available at the official websites – dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in.

Students can also check the TN plus 2 HSC results at the national information center of all district collectorates and central branch libraries. To check the TNDGE Board Result 2024 online, students are required to have their registration number and date of birth.

How to Check TNDGE Class 12 HSC Result 2024 Online

Step 1: Visit the official website – dge.tn.gov.in or tnresults.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage click on the result tab

Step 3: Enter your credentials like date of birth and registration number or roll number.

Step 4: The result will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Save and download the result for future reference.

To collect the original mark sheets, students however will have to visit their respective schools a few days after the result 2024 declaration.

The TNDGE 2024 HSC plus 2 exams were conducted between March 1 to March 22, 2024, in a pen-paper mode. The exams were held in 3,986  exam centers across the state. Around eight lakh students have appeared for the exam this year.

Last year, the TN HSE+2 result was released on May 8. The overall pass percentage was 94.03 per cent last year. The overall pass percentage in science was 96.32 per cent, while in commerce and arts, it was 91.63 per cent and 81.89 per cent respectively last year.

Over the past five years, there has been a noticeable decline in the number of students taking the TN HSC +2 exams. In 2019, the figure stood at 8,42,512. Subsequent years witnessed a downward trend, with 7,79,931 students in 2020, 8,16,473 in 2021, 8,06,277 in 2022, and finally, 8,03,385 in 2023.
