TN TRB Recruitment 2024: Application link for 4,000 Assistant Professor posts on Mar 28

TN TRB Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024: The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) today notified the TN TRB Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024 posts. Eligible candidates can apply for the vacancies at the official website — trb.tn.gov.in.

As per the official schedule, the online application link will be activated on March 28 and the deadline for the same is April 29 (5 pm). To be eligible for the vacancies, the candidate should be less than 57 years, as on July 1, 2024.

TN TRB 2024 Recruitment: Total vacancies

— Backlog vacancies: 72

— Shortfall vacancies: 4

— To teach (hard of hearing) differently-abled persons in Tamil and computer application subjects: 3

— Current vacancies: 3,921

As of now, the exam will take place on August 4, but the exam date can be changed if a situation arises. The interview date is yet to be announced.

To select candidates for these vacancies, TN TRB will first conduct a written examination and then interviews. The minimum mark open category candidates need to score to qualify is 40 per cent. For other categories, it is 30 per cent.

The written exam will be for 200 marks. Paper 1 and paper 2 will be each divided in two parts, and the interview round will be equivalent to 30 marks.
