The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow is offering several scholarships for its Faculty of Engineering applicants joining postgraduate taught and postgraduate research courses in the academic year 2024-25.
All self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying offer holders with strong academic qualifications have to apply.
The deadline for applicants applying to study a postgraduate taught course in January 2025 is January 10.
Applicants must hold an offer to a full-time postgraduate taught degree course starting in January 2025 before scholarship application is considered. If applying for a postgraduate research course applicants must start during the 2024-25 academic year.
Postgraduate taught degree course
— Applicants applying for a postgraduate taught degree course will receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 15 per cent reduction of their fees, which will typically be up to £4,240.
— To be considered for the Faculty of Engineering International Scholarship applicants should have a 2:1 (or equivalent) in their undergraduate degree.
Those candidates who will apply for a postgraduate research degree course will receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 15 per cent reduction of their fees for each year of study.

Postgraduate research degree applicants can apply year-round for the scholarships. Applicants studying a two-year MSc course will receive a 15 per cent scholarship for their first year only. The amount varies for selected courses with a different tuition fee, including courses within architecture and biomedical engineering.
