SSC CGL 2024: Last date for correction window at ssc.gov.in

SSC CGL application 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has opened the online application form for candidates who want to correct their Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL) 2024 form. The last date to modify the form is August 11 till 11:00 pm.

The candidates who wish to make changes to their application forms can visit the official website to do so – ssc.gov.in. To update the information, they will require application number and password to log into the SSC CGL account and make changes to the application form.

The candidates need to note only the name of the candidate, parent’s name,  date of birth, gender and roll number of their class 10 can be changed in the application form. 

The candidates who have filled the online application form and now want to make corrections in it will have to pay a fee of Rs 200 for the first correction, this amount will rise to Rs 500 for the second correction.

According to the official notice, the candidates will be allowed to correct and resubmit their application forms up to two times during the ‘Application Form Correction’ window. If a mistake is made even after the first correction, they will have only one more opportunity to submit a corrected version. However, the candidates must remember that no further changes will be permitted after that.

SSC CGL 2024 Application Form: Steps to make corrections

Step 1: Go to the official SSC website —  ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, locate the login tab and enter your details.

Step 3: Find and click on the link for SSC CGL 2024 application form correction.

Step 4: Make the necessary changes to your application form.

Step 5: Carefully review all the updated information, then proceed to make the payment.

Step 6: Once done, download the updated form and print a copy for your records.

The Tier-1 exam is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in September-October with the Tier-2 exam set to begin in December 2024.

The admit cards for the SSC CGL 2024 will be issued by the commission on the official website of the respective regions. The recruitment drive is to fill up a total of 17,727 vacancies in Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts
