SBI’s Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025: The State Bank of India’s, CSR arm, SBI Foundation, has started the application process for its Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship. This year, the programme will empower 23,230 meritorious students from humble and underprivileged backgrounds across India. Additionally, as a continued effort to support the young minds of the nation, SBI commits Rs 90 crore towards scholarship in FY26.
The scholarship covers students from Class 9 onwards up to Postgraduate programmes, offering financial assistance ranging from Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,00,000 annually per year till the completion of course in which the scholar has been selected. Dedicated categories have been designed to support:
–School students (Class 9–12)
–Undergraduate and postgraduate students at NIRF top 300 or NAAC A rated institutes or colleges
–Scholars at IITs and IIMs
–Students pursuing medical courses
—Students aspiring to study abroad
–SC/ST students pursuing master’s and higher education abroad at top 200 QS ranking universities

The application window will remain active till November 15, 2025. Students can apply via the official portal: sbiashascholarship.co.in. Eligibility details and category-wise benefits are available on the website. Further, the eligibility for the scholarship is as below:
–Applicants must be Indian nationals
–Applicants must have secured at least 75 per cent marks or 7.0 CGPA in the previous academic year
–A family income for school students should be Rs 3 lacs or less
— A family income for college students should be Rs 6 lacs or less
