Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 Updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s annual event ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ (PPC) was held on February 10. He spoke to group a of students across the state on various topics including nutrition, millet, anxiety, depression, nature etc. In a recorded session at Sunder Nursery, PM Modi gave various suggestions to parents and teachers to avoid pressure on career choice.
PM Modi also shared that during his school days, his handwriting was not good and his teacher helped him improve his handwriting.
As per a release, this year’s edition has broken previous records with over 5 crore students, teachers and parents participating in PPC.
This eighth edition was attended by sports and Bollywood personalities like actor Deepika Padukone, Vikrant Massey, Bhumi Pednekar, six-time world champion boxer MC Mary Kom along with spiritual leader Sadhguru.
The programme, hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, deals with exam-related issues, tips, and stress and guides parents and teachers also. The interactive session is for students from classes 6 to 12. All the participants will receive a participation certificate for Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC).

Generally, the difficulty level of the question papers remains the same. To nullify the effect of difficulty level, if any, CBSE releases sample question papers in all subjects offered at the beginning of the academic session. These papers help the students in planning for the preparations of examinations.
The prime minister spoke on issues such as 'master your time master your life, live in the moment, finding positives, nourish to flourish', with students quizzing him on different matters. Urging parents to not use their children as models to show off, he said they should not compare them with others and instead support them.
"Unfortunately there is a common belief that if someone doesn't score well in class 10 and 12 boards, their life is ruined. Our society creates a tense atmosphere at home over low grades. You may also be under pressure but prepare without worrying about it and keep challenging yourself," he said.

One should not view exams as be-all and end-all in life, he added. In a lively interaction with students drawn from states and UTs from across the country, the prime minister said students should not be confined and allowed to explore their passions.
He asked students to use their time in a planned way for its effective management. The prime minister spoke on issues such as 'master your time master your life, live in the moment, finding positives, nourish to flourish', with students quizzing him on different matters.
Urging parents to not use their children as models to show off, he said they should not compare them with others and instead support them.
The prime minister highlighted the importance of good sleep and stressed that students should not consider that their lives will be spoilt if they do not score high marks.
He said students should handle pressure as batters do in a stadium amid the noise being made by spectators. They focus on the next ball ignoring the demand for boundaries, he said, asking students to focus on their studies and not be pressured by exams.
Modi, however, asked them to challenge themselves and always try to do better than their previous results. He emphasised on the need for nutrition and meditation.

A student asked PM Modi how to manage career choice pressure from parents. He said that the pressure comes from social status and other neighbours. PM Modi asks parents to not make students stand like models in front of others. PM Modi gives an example of Sachin Tendulkar who got interested in cricket in the early days when his parents also supported him. PM Modi also shared his opinion on skill development.
PM Modi says that he has bad writing and there was a teacher who pushed her limits to make sure PM's writing is improved. However he could not improve his writing in school days.
PM Modi shares symptoms of anxiety and depression among students. He says that students should learn how to share their issues and problems with other people. Through speaking and sharing problems, a person gets relaxed.
Students do flower clapping for PM Modi. Flower clapping is used for specially abled people.
PM Modi says that everyone has 24 hours in a day and management is important to make a day productive. PM says that a person has to think about how to use the time rather than waste it. A student should write on paper to see how he or she uses the time. Utilise more time for difficult subjects followed by easy subjects. He gives example of maths and geography subjects.

The PPC 2025 is in 8 episodes wherein its second episode deals with exam pressure. PM Modi calls exam pressure as unduly part of Indian society. Students share their opinions on exam pressures. PM Modi also made student understands the exam pressure through an example of cricketers and pressure on them.
In the official trailer, PM Modi is at Sunder Nursery with students from across the states. Students share their talents with PM Modi. A girl from Kerala tells a poem in Hindi which surprises other students and PM Modi also.
Other famous personalities who have been roped in are Paralympic gold medallist Avani Lekhara, celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar, Sonali Sabharwal, health influencer Food Pharmer, YouTuber Technical Guru ji and Radhika Gupta. PPC is an annual event in which PM Modi interacts with students appearing for board and entrance examinations. During the event, he also answers students’ queries related to exam stress and other issues.
