The National Institute of Technology, Rourkela ( NIT Rourkela ) has launched a new BTech programme in Artificial Intelligence. Candidates can enrol in programmes through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and CSAB registration.
The programmes is offered by the computer science and engineering department of NIT Rourkela for a duration of four years. It is designed to equip and facilitate the candidates with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to excel in the field of artificial intelligence.
The last date for the registration and choice locking of JoSAA counselling is June 18 till 5 pm. Interested candidates can register themselves on the official website of – josaa.nic.in
Candidates are required to keep their JEE Main 2024 application number and password handy, to access the JoSAA counselling portal.
The JoSAA seat allocation results for round 1 will declared on June 20, 10 am. Additionally, the first seat allotment result will be declared today June 15 at 8 pm and the second round of seat allotment results will be released on June 17.
The second, third, fourth and fifth round results of JoSAA counselling will be released on June 27, July 4, July 10, and July 17 respectively.
As per the official notice, last year the admission in NIT Rourkela was held from August 16, 2023 to August 21, 2023, in BTech, BArch, dual degree and Int. MSc through JoSAA and CSAB counselling.
Established in 1961, the NIT Rourkela has received 37 ranks in overall, and 16 rank amongst engineering colleges and it secured the 8th spot in the Architecture category as per the NIRF ranking 2023. Furthermore, the institution acquired 67 ranks in Southern Asia category of QS World university rankings 2023
