How to mark attendance

Candidates must enter the required details in the test booklet, attendance sheet and OMR answer sheet. They should place their signature (in legible running hand) and left-hand thumb Impression twice and paste the Photograph at the appropriate place in the Attendance Sheet. They also need to place their signature (in legible running hand) and Left Hand Thumb Impression on Side-2 of the OMR Answer Sheet. They should ensure that their Left-Hand Thumb Impression is clear and not smudged.

The NEET is a three-hour long exam which includes three sections – physics, chemistry and biology.

The NEET is a three-hour long exam which includes three sections – physics, chemistry and biology.Of the total 180 questions, 90 would be from biology and 45 each from physics and chemistry. Preparation syllabus includes the whole of Class 11 and 12 standard NCERT textbooks in the respective subjects. Every correct answer would fetch you plus four marks and every incorrect answer results in a negative mark. Questions that are not attempted do not have any penalty marks. So, choose your battles wisely, if you do not know a question for sure, do not mark it.

How are ties resolved?

In case two or more candidates score the same marks then the following process will be eligible to break a tie. First preference will be given to candidate scoring higher marks in Botony and Zoology. If the tie remains, preference will be given to students with higher marks in chemistry. If the marks continue to tally, the student with less number of incorrect answers will be considered first. As the last option to break the tie, students who are older in age will be given preference.

The National Board of Examination (NBE) declared the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET PG 2020). The candidates can check the results through the websites- nbe.edu.in, natboard.edu.in.

NEET PG results 2020 HIGHLIGHTS: The exam conducting body has made it clear that there is no provision for rechecking/re-evaluation/re-totaling of the result/marks and no query in this regard will be entertained. The examination is held for the admission to postgraduate medical seats – MD and MS in medical colleges in India. NBE conducted the medical entrance exam on January 5 in across 165 cities on the computer-based platform.

The counselling for admission to Diploma and MD and MS seats in all medical colleges in a state or Union Territory shall be conducted by them.
