NEET PG 2024 counselling registration begins at mcc.nic.in

NEET PG 2024 Counselling: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on September 20 started the registration and payment facility for round 1 of NEET PG Counselling 2024. MCC will soon upload the counselling schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 at the official MCC website — mcc.nic.in.

The counselling registration will begin at 5 pm of September 20, an official notice by MCC stated.

Although the MCC website is yet to upload the complete schedule of the NEET PG counselling, the ‘latest news’ section on the MCC website is flashing that candidates can get PwD certificates issued from designated disability centres between 3 pm of September 9 and 5 pm of September 25 for round 1 of PG Counselling 2024.

As per FAIMA, the NEET PG 2024 counselling registration for the first list will conclude on September 26, the payment window will close at 3 pm. After this, the choice filling window will be available from September 23 till 26 and choice locking will begin from 4 pm of September 26 till 11:55 pm of the same day. Processing of seat allotment will between available on September 27 to 29. The result of first seat allotment list will release on September 30. Reporting of candidates, on the basis of the first list, will be done between October 1 and 8.

This notice has been released following the Supreme Court hearing today regarding issues raised by NEET PG students. A three-judge bench led by the Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Justice Manoj Misra, and Justice JB Pardiwala today heard a petition filed against the NBEMS, MCC and the Centre. The petitioner alleged that exam pattern was changed three days before the exam, but the allegation was denied by Centre.

“It is very unusual… Three days before the examinations (exam pattern was changed) …students will have a meltdown,” CJI said. The matter is now listed on September 27.
