NEET (Phase-I) has held on May 1 and about 6.67 lakh students appeared for the exam. Check the exam analysis
The NEET (Phase-I) question paper in Physics is above average. It is calculative. Few questions are asked from NCERT. While 40 per cent of the questions are tough, 40 per cent are medium and 20 per cent are easy. Some of the questions are repeated from the previous year papers.
Shruti Ghule, a student said, “The Physics section was tough and lengthy, I could only attempt 25 out of 45 questions.”

In Chemistry, the difficulty level of the questions was on the higher side compared to last year repeat exam of AIPMT. Approximately 1/3rd of the questions were from class XI and the rest are from class XII. Many of the questions were beyond the scope of NCERT. Two questions had “two options” correct and in one question none of the options was correct.
The Biology portion had more of less questions of average level. The questions from Class XI and Class XII were almost of same number. A couple of questions were beyond the NCERT book also. One of the question had wrong options as none of the options justified micronutrients asked in the questions. Maximum weightage of the questions were from Cytology, Physiology, Genetics and Ecology. The paper was relatively on the easier side compared to last year repeat paper of AIPMT.
