Maharashtra SSC 10th result 2018: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will publish the Class 10 or SSC supplementary exams result today. In the annual exams, the district with the highest pass percentage was Konkan, with 96 per cent. Nagpur was the least scoring district with 85 per cent.
This year too, girls scored more than boys. The re-examination will begin on July 17 for both the classes and the details regarding the same will be out shortly

Students who want to get their scores re-evaluated or who want to get a copy of the answer sheets can do it between August 30 and September 8. Last year, a total of 12,56,20 candidates had registered for the exam of which 12,47,23 appeared. Among them, 20,1,16 boys passed the SSC supplementary exam while 10,3,72 girls cleared it.
The SSC 10th examination supplementary results have been declared today, by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), at 1 pm. All those students who appeared for the exam can check the same at the official website – mahresult.nic.in
The girls have outshone boys scoring 27.05 pass percent while boys are at 22.22 per cent. The overall passing percentage registered is 23.66. Overall, 1,21,059 students appeared for the exam of which 84,860 were boys and 36,199 were girls. Among them, 18,852 boys have passed while 9793 girls have passed.
Among districts, higest pass percentage is scored by Aurangabad with 32.83. A total of 12,959 candidates appeared of which 4255 have passed. Amaravati district is at the second position with 31.77 pass percentage. Mumbai performance remains low with 14.21 per cent students passing the SSC exams. As many as 33397 students appeared of which 4747 passed.
A total of 1.22 lakh students registered for the exam of which 1.21 lakh appeared. Only 28,645 students had passed for the exam. However, the pass percentage remains low with 23.66 per cent.
This year, in the main examination, Shrutika Jagadish Mahajan from Chandrakant Patkar School, Dombivli, had topped the Maharashtra SSC 10th exams with 100 per cent. The second rank was obtained by Sanika Sanjay Gaikwad from Vidya Niketan School, with 99.80 per cent and Khushi Ajay Vora from DSRV Borivali was at the third place with 99.60 per cent.
The result of Class 10th supplementary examination has now been announced by MSBSHSE. Students can visit the official website, mahresult.nic.in and with the help of their roll numbers and mother's name, may obtain their scores.
In another five minutes, the Board will announce the result for SSC 10th supplmentary examination.
The Board this year had constituted 58 flying squads and 37 central squads for vigilance, in order to prevent incidents of paper leak and cheating, Meanwhile, as per reports, the board exam was still surrounded with incidents of paper leak. Nearly, an hour after the start of the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examination, photos of question paper of MIL subject started circulating on WhatsApp at around Kendrapara district. However, the Board officials dismissed leak reports.
The exam result will be declared in half an hour now. Students should be ready with their hall tickets/ roll numbers.
The result of HSC examination was released by the MSBSHSE on May 30. A total of 5486 candidates scored above 90 per cent in the Maharashtra Board HSC exams this year.
86.87% handicapped students passed in the main examination. A total of 125 students got 100% per cent marks in the exam. 63,331 students across the state had scored 90 per cent or above. Last year the pass percentage was 88.74 and this time it had increased by 0.67 per cent.
This year, 17.51 lakh students appeared for the SSC main examinations that were conducted by the Maharashtra Board from March 1 to March 24. Girls (91.17) fared better than boys (87.27), maintaining the same trend as every year. Among districts, Konkan had topped with 96 per cent while Nagpur was the least scoring district with 85 per cent. Mumbai had registered 90.41 per cent while Pune was at 92.08 per cent.

All those students who appeared for the exam can check their respective results, once released, at the official website – mahresult.nic.in. They are advised to keep their hall tickets ready in order to check their scores. They will have to enter their roll number to check the same. The supplementary examination was conducted for all those who were unable to clear the main exams,
