To check the KSEAB 10th Result 2025 online, students need to follow a few simple steps. First, they should visit either of the official websites— karresults.nic.in or kseab.karnataka.gov.in. Once on the homepage, they must look for and click on the link “Karnataka SSLC Result 2025.”

After that, students will be prompted to enter their details, such as their roll number, in the designated field. Upon submitting the information, the Class 10 result for 2025 will be displayed on the screen. Students are advised to download or take a printout of the result for future reference.

Students were given 10 per cent of grace marks in 2023, compared to 5 per cent in 2022. A total of 59,246 students have benefited from 10 per cent grace marks awarded.
In 2022, the SSLC total pass percentage was 85.63 per cent, highest pass percentage in the past decade, excluding the 99.99 per cent recorded in 2021 when all the students were declared passed due to the pandemic.

As a result of the low pass percentage, the board has enhanced the normalisation by increasing the grade marks from 10% to 20%, resulting in a pass percentage of 73%. The qualifying marks for the Karnataka SSLC exam have been reduced from 35% to 25%.

KSEAB follows a grade-based evaluation system: A+ for 90% and above, A for 80–89%, B+ for 70–79%, B for 60–69%, C+ for 50–59%, and C for 35–49%. These grades are reflected alongside marks in the result sheet.
Students should verify all details on their scorecards, including name, parent names, marks total, percentage, grades, and remarks. Any discrepancies must be reported to school authorities or KSEAB for immediate correction.
Apart from the official websites karresults.nic.in and kseab.karnataka.gov.in, students can also check their SSLC-1 scores via SMS or through the DigiLocker app.
After the results are declared, the KSEAB will release detailed guidelines for students seeking revaluation or photocopies of their answer scripts.
To pass the Karnataka SSLC Class 10 exams, students must secure at least 35% in each subject. Additionally, they must score a minimum of 40 out of 150 in theory and 30 out of 50 in practicals. Grace marks may be granted to those falling just short of the cut-off.
Approximately 8.96 lakh students appeared for the SSLC-1 exams held from March 21 to April 4, 2025, across 2,818 centres. The exams, conducted in pen-and-paper mode, tested students in mathematics, science, social science, and three language subjects.

The girls performed better than boys over the past year, a trend that many people are expected to continue. This year, around 9 lakh students are considered to be registered for the exam, reflecting the scope and importance of this academic milestone.
If students are not satisfied with their marks, they have the option to request a reassessment of their answer scripts or a re-evaluation of their total marks. This process can be completed within a few days after the results are announced, upon payment of a small fee.
For students who do not fulfil the passing criterion, KSEAB offers the opportunity to take the supplementary exam. These exams are usually held in June or July, giving students another chance to improve performance without waiting for the entire academic year.
In SSLC last year, 8.9 lakh students had registered for the Karnataka Board Class 10 exams. Of them, 4.5 lakh boys and 4.3 lakh girls participated in the annual board exams. The overall pass percentage was 73.40 per cent, which saw a sharp decline from 2023’s 83.89 per cent and 2022’s 85.13 per cent. This was also a decline from the pre-pandemic years (2019) when the pass percentage was 73.70 per cent. The Karnataka board Class 10 SSLC result was declared on May 9, 2024.
