In the sector wise results, the Aided sector tops with 82.16% (out of 182409 candidates 149863 qualified for higher studies) followed by the Government sector 73.23% (120027 candidates out of 163904 became eligible for higher studies) and in the Un Aided sector the percentage of E.H.S is 75.91% (18218 candidates qualified for higher studies out of 23998)

19719 (57.91%) SC students out of 34051, 3047 (60.28%) ST students out of 5055, 6183 (69.88%) OEC students out of 8848, 197567 (78.64%) OBC students out of 251245 and 61878 (86.61%) other category out of 71443 qualified for higher studies.

The statistics shows that in the Science stream 157561 (83.25%) candidates qualified for higher studies from the 189263 who took the examination, while in the Humanities stream it is 51578 (69.16%) candidates out of 74583, and in the Commerce stream 79255 (74.21%) candidates qualified for higher studies from among the 106796 candidates who appeared for the exam.

Result statistics reveal that of the 190690 girls who took the examination, 165234 (86.65%) became eligible for higher studies, while from among the 179952 boys 123160 (68.44%) qualified for higher studies.

The percentage of results for this year being 77.81 and last year the percentage was 78.69. The result was calculated by taking into account the first and second year scores. Double valuation system was adopted for physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects.

Special Schools: Attained the highest pass percentage at 84.4%.

Unaided Schools: Registered a pass percentage of 75.91%.

Aided Schools: Recorded a pass percentage of 82.16%.

Government Schools: Achieved a pass percentage of 73.23%.

This year, a total of 1,79,952 boys appeared for the Class 12 board examinations, with 1,23,160 successfully clearing the exams. The overall pass percentage for boys stood at 68.44%

The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) Kerala has announced that the Plus Two SAY (Save A Year) examinations for 2025 will be conducted from June 23 to June 27, 2025, as per reports. The deadline to apply for the SAY improvement exams and for revaluation of answer scripts is May 27, 2025.

Ernakulam district has secured the top position in the Kerala Plus Two (Class 12) examinations for the academic year 2024–25, achieving an outstanding pass percentage of 83.09%.

The students who fail will have the option to appear in the supplementary exams and those dissatisfied with their results will be able to apply for rechecking. The details regarding both of these will be released by the board after the declaration of Class 12th Results.

The pass percentage for students in the Kerala Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) has seen a decline this year compared to the previous year. The overall pass rate stands at 78.69 per cent, marking a drop of 0.88 percentage points from last year’s 77.81 per cent
