This year, 77.81% of students have passed the DHSE exam. The Science stream recorded the highest pass percentage at 83.25%, the Commerce stream followed with a pass percentage of 74.21%. Meanwhile, the Humanities stream registered a pass percentage of 69.16%.

In 2024, the result of the DHSE HSE board exams was declared at a press conference on May 9.
The overall pass percentage last year was 78.69 per cent. It was a decrease from the previous year when the pass percentage stood at 82.95%. The overall pass percentage of science stream was 84.84 per cent, for Commerce it was 76.11 per cent while for Arts it stood at 67.09 per cent. In the vocational stream pass percentage was 71.42 per cent.

In the sector wise results, the Aided sector tops with 82.16% (out of 182409 candidates 149863 qualified for higher studies) followed by the Government sector 73.23% (120027 candidates out of 163904 became eligible for higher studies) and in the Un Aided sector the percentage of E.H.S is 75.91% (18218 candidates qualified for higher studies out of 23998)
The Art Stream is conducted in the Kerala Kalamandalam Art Higher Secondary School. 56 students appeared from the Kerala Kalamandalam Art Higher Secondary School in the higher secondary March 2025 examination, 45 students qualified for higher studies ie. 80.36%. Out of this 2 candidates secured A+ in all subjects.

S V HSS, Palemad, Malappuram recorded the highest number of candidates appearing for the exam, with 785 students, achieving a pass percentage of 72.48%. This was followed by St. Mary’s HSS, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram, where 756 candidates registered a pass percentage of 79.37%, and MSM HSS, Kallingalparamba, Malappuram, with 712 candidates securing an impressive 91.01%. Govt. Rajah’s HSS, Kottakkal, Malappuram, also with 712 candidates, reported a pass percentage of 86.1%.
