JEE Advanced 2023: Malviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur is one of the 31 NITs in the country. The institute has 11 departments and five centres. It offers eight undergraduate programmes and 15 postgraduate programmes.
The college ranked 62 in the overall category of National Institutional Ranking Framework 2023. It secured the 47th spot in the research category and 37th spot amongst engineering colleges. It ranked 13th in Architecture 69th in the management institutes list.

The institute was jointly established by the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan in 1963 as Malviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur.
The college was given the status of National Institute of Technology on June 26, 2002. It was recognised as an Institute of National Importance through an Act of Parliament on August 15, 2007. It is funded by the Ministry of Education.
