IIT Roorkee Placements: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee students secured three International and 358 domestic offers on the first day of placements.
The number increased to over 440 offers including PPO, on the second day of the placement season, and further increased to 504 (including PPO) with 16 international offers on the third day. Towards the end of fourth day, the institute reported 593 offers (including PPO) with 16 international offers.
Some of the main companies that hired students from IIT Roorkee were Accenture Japan, Acuvon Consulting Private, American Express, Auronova Consulting, Axis Bank, Barclays, Clear, Demsyt, Edgeverve Systems, Groww, Headout, Hilti Technology Solutions India, ICICI Lombard, Infoedge, Inito, Meesho, Nation with Namo, Palo Alto Network, Samsung R&D Institute, Delhi Schlumberger, Sedemac, Skiify Solutions, Standard Chartered, SuperAGI, Tata AiG, Wells Fargo etc.
A total of 105 companies participated in the IIT Roorkee placements till day 4.

The institute has claimed that by the end of the third day of placements, the students had secured 16 international offers. “As compared to last year, we have received the highest International Salary,” the institute said in an official release.
A US-based company, as per the sources, has offered a Rs 2.05 crore package to an IIT-Roorkee student.
Last year, on day two of IIT Roorkee placements, 32 companies came with multiple profiles till 2 pm. The total number of offers had reached 500, which is similar to this year’s number. In 2022, the overall highest offer was made for Rs 1.30 crore. The highest international offer was made for Rs 1.06 crore. In total, 10 students received offers worth Rs 80 lakh.
