IIM Ranchi has received an international accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA). This accomplishment, according to the Institute, reaffirms its position among the top two per cent of global business schools that meet the most rigorous global standards in management education.
Within the country’s management education landscape, AMBA accreditation is internationally regarded as one of the most respected and selective global benchmarks in postgraduate management education.
What if you don’t get admission into a Tier-1 college?
Awarded only after a meticulous review process, it certifies that an institution demonstrates exceptional quality across pedagogy, curriculum innovation, learning experience, and career impact.
Additionally, the Ranchi-based Institute received recognition with the 4 Palmes of Excellence in the Eduniversal Best Business Schools Ranking 2025.
The Eduniversal ranking system, which spans 154 countries and evaluates over 1,000 business schools, considers global influence, internationalisation, academic reputation, and the strength of institutional partnerships.
The 4 Palmes of Excellence, awarded by the Eduniversal International Scientific Committee and endorsed through global peer voting by Deans, identify institutions with a strong and growing international impact.
As IIM Ranchi continues to expand its global partnerships and deepen its engagement with international peers, the Institute remains steadfast in its mission to develop responsible, future-ready leaders. These recognitions reinforce its standing as one of the most respected and influential management institutions in the world today, and they signal the Institute’s determination to keep advancing the frontiers of management education.
Meanwhile, the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) Kashipur, Raipur, Ranchi, and Tiruchirappalli on September 9 announced the launch of the Joint Admission Process (JAP) for MBA admissions for the next academic session. As mentioned in the press release, IIM Raipur will be the coordinator for JAP 2026, handling the admission process for all four participating IIMs.
JAP 2026 is a joint initiative showing commitment to excellence, collaborative resource management, and delivering a transparent, aspirant-focused admission experience that meets IIM standards, states the IIM release
