ICAI CA 2024 Result 2024: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on July 11 declared the CA intermediate and final results of the May 2024 exam. The final and inter results links are active at the official websites — icai.org or icai.nic.in.
This year, Shivam Mishra topped the CA final exam.
Along with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India CA result, the institute has also released the merit list. This year, the intermediate group 1 exams were conducted on May 3, 5 and 7, and the group 2 were held on May 9, 11 and 13. Final group 1 exams were conducted on May 2, 4 and 8, and group 2 exams were held on May 10, 14 and 16.
Of the 1,17,764 candidates appearing in the CA group 1 inter exam in May 2024, as many as 31,978 (27.15 per cent) have qualified. In CA Inter group 2, a total of 71,145 candidates appeared for the exam and of them, 13,008 passed (18.28 per cent). As many as 59,956 candidates appeared for both groups and only 11,041 (18.42 per cent) passed.

In Group I May 2024 CA exam, 74,887 final year exam candidates appeared of which 20479 passed taking the pass percentage at 27.35 per cent while in Group II, 58,891 students appeared of which 21,408 qualified the exam. The pass percentage is 36.35 per cent. In both groups, 35819 candidates sat of which only 7,122 passed scoring overall 19.88 per cent.
In the CA final May 2024 exams, AIR 1 Shivam Mishra has scored 83.33 per cent (500 marks). The AIR 2, Varsha Arora obtained 480 marks while AIR 3 Kiran Manral and Ghilman Saalim Ansari scored 477 marks each (79.50 per cent).
In the CA inter May 2024 exam, the AIR 1 Kushagra Roy from Bhiwadi has obtained 538 marks (89.67 per cent). Two candidates have obtained AIR 2 — Yuj Sachin Kariya from Akola and Yogya Lalit Chandak from Bhayandar. They have scored 526 marks (87.67 per cent). AIR 3 as well is shared by two candidates — Manjit Singh Bhatia from New Delhi and Hiresh Kashiramka from Mumbai. They have scored 519 marks (86.50 per cent).
