ICAI Campus Placement: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has ended its 60th campus placement and has secured the highest domestic package of Rs 26.7 LPA. In a post on the microblogging site, X, Dhiraj Khandelwal shared that this year 240 companies participated in the campus placement.
“This year has been a landmark achievement, witnessing the highest-ever participation of 240 companies, the largest batch of newly qualified Chartered Accountants (CAs), and record-breaking salary offers, making it the most remarkable placement season in ICAI’s history,” posted Khandelwal on X.
Over 8,000 qualified CAs secured placements during the last two seasons of placement. The programme had an average salary of Rs 12.49 lakhs per annum, with the highest domestic package reaching a remarkable Rs 26.70 lakh per annum given by Power Finance Corporation (PFC).
Meanwhile, the Institute on December 26 announced the ICAI CA final results for the November 2024 exam. This year, rank 1 is shared by two candidates – Heramb Maheswari and Rishabh Ostwal R. Rank 2 is bagged by Riya Kunjankumar Shah and rank 3 by Kinjal Ajmera.
According to data shared by ICAI, of the 66,987 candidates appearing in group 1 exams, as many as 11,253 (16.8 per cent) have passed. In group 2, as many as 49,459 total appeared candidates, 10,566 (21.36 per cent) passed.
A total of 30,763 candidates appeared in both groups and only 4134 have passed, taking the pass percentage to 13.44 per cent. 11,500 candidates have qualified as Chartered Accountants (CAs), the official notification said.
ICAI CA final group I exams were held on November 3, 5 and 7 while the group II exams were held on November 9, 11 and 13.
