Mumbai University, SPPU get new Vice Chancellors

Ravindra Kulkarni has been appointed as Vice Chancellors of Mumbai University (MU) while Dr Suresh Gosavi is the new VC of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais’s office said on Tuesday.

Governor is the chancellor of public universities in the state.

In another tweet, the Governor informed that Dr Sanjay Bhave was appointed as the new VC of Dr Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli.

Dr Kulkarni is a senior professor at the Institute of Chemical Technology, while Dr Gosavi holds the position of senior professor in the Department of Physics at SPPU.

Dr Bhave serves as head of the department at Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth.
