MBBS in Malaysia is a six year programme which includes a one year compulsory internship. Five years of the total academic term focuses on students with theoretical and practical knowledge. The students are advised to check course structure from college to college as the programme length can vary.
However, due to the Covid epidemic, the National Medical Commission (NMC) in India mandated in 2022 that foreign medical graduates (FMGs) who had finished their fourth and fifth years online be required to complete a two-year internship instead of one following their MBBS. The Supreme Court, in March, had requested the Central Government to assist the FMGs in bringing their conflict to an end. Check all details here

UGC says it is providing basic amenities such as water, refreshments, and covered shelters/waiting areas to candidates and their parents / guardians.
"Candidates and their parents were also regularly informed about the steps taken and the exam start status in the centers where there was a delay in starting the test. We will continue to take measures to provide a better experience to the students sitting for CUET-UG," the UGC Chief said.
On the Day 1 of the CUET UG 2023 exam, in 2% of centers (approximately 12 out of 450 today), the exam started later than scheduled but was successfully completed.
"The exam started late due to a couple of reasons, such as power fluctuations in some centers and, in others, students needing to follow staggered entry. Students were informed in the admit cards to enter the center in a staggered manner. But in a few centers, since they came late, there was crowding and subsequent delay in the start of the exam. We request the students to come staggered to avoid this kind of situation. We have now taken administrative measures to prevent such situations in the future. In many cities, we have also taken help from the traffic police to minimize traffic jams around the centers," the UGC Chief said.
The students who are yet to appear for the exam can download their admit cards from the official website — cuet.samarth.ac.in.

Asked about how CUET will provide an edge to students over the board exam marks for UG admissions, Kumar said, "In the past, students used to be under stress to secure more than 95 per cent marks in class 12 board examination to get admission in the university of their choice.
"With the introduction of CUET, the stress on them for securing very high marks in the one and only board examination stands reduced. Marks given by different boards vary widely because of the typology of questions and the scoring pattern. These things will now be standardised under CUET," he said.

Mock tests are an essential component of the last-month preparation strategy for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) and candidates should go through as many mock tests as possible to garner a substantial understanding of the exam.
Covering new topics or books may prove to be counter-productive during the last few days of preparation and could add to the confusion in the minds of aspirants.
Hence, the last-month preparation for CUET should include revising topics that are already covered. Aiming to learn something new at this stage is likely to be overwhelming and may not be comprehended clearly during the exam. Also, do not hesitate to clear your doubts and concepts.
