In 2023 and 2022, the CBSE Class 10 compartment results were declared on August 4 and September 9, respectively. In 2023, the Class 12 CBSE compartment result was announced on August 1.
The CBSE Class 10 and CBSE Class 12 results were declared on May 13. Out of a total of 23,85,079 students who registered for the CBSE Class 10 exams, 23,71,939 students appeared for the exams. Among them, 22,21,636 students passed. In the CBSE Class 12 examinations held this year, a total of 17,04,367 students were registered. Out of these, 16,92,794 students appeared, and 14,96,307 students passed the exam.

Earlier this year, CBSE declared the results for the main Class 10 and Class 12 board exams on May 13. The supplementary exam provides a second chance for students who did not clear one or more subjects.
In the regular CBSE Class 12 board exam held earlier in 2025, out of 16.92 lakh students who appeared, 14.96 lakh students successfully cleared the exam, registering a high overall pass percentage.
CBSE conducted the Class 12 supplementary exams not only in India but also in 26 countries overseas. This ensures equitable opportunities for Indian students enrolled in CBSE-affiliated schools across the globe.
The pass percentage among Children With Special Needs (CWSN) candidates in the CBSE Class 12 supplementary exam stood at 50.18%. This reflects a strong academic effort among students who faced additional challenges.
This year, 278 Children With Special Needs (CWSN) students registered for the Class 12 supplementary exam. Out of these, 273 appeared, and 137 passed, bringing the pass percentage for this group to 50.18%.
