BSEB Bihar Board results 2023: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is one of the few state boards that have successfully concluded the matric exams and today is the last day to raise objections on the answer key. The exams were held from February 14 to 22.
The Bihar Board is expected to release the results by March-end or April beginning. Over the years, the Bihar Board has seen a crest and trough pattern in the matric results with the 2021 pass percentage going the lowest of the past two years and 2022 recording a recovery as schools were reopened for offline classes.
In 2022, the BSEB announced class 10 results on March 31. The total pass percentage was 79.88 per cent. Ramayani Roy was declared the topper of BSEB Class 10. She scored 487 marks. The first division was achieved by 4,24,857 students, as many as 5,10,411 students secured the second division and 3,47,637 got the third division.
Meanwhile, in 2021, 78.17 per cent students passed the matric exam which was a drop of nearly two per cent from the previous year. As many as 12,93,054 students had passed of which 6,76,518 were boys while 6,16,536 were girls.
In 2020, 80.59 per cent of students passed the class 10 boards. Himanshu Raj topped the exam scoring 96.20 per cent. In 2019, the Bihar Board recorded an overall pass percentage of 80.73 per cent. Sawan Raj Bharti had scored the highest in recent years with 97.2 per cent. This was the highest mark scored by a class 10 BSEB topper.
