Campaigning for Preneet Kaur, the BJP candidate from Patiala Lok Sabha seat, Union Minister Hardeep Puri told her Tuesday that her Patiala royal family’s Moti Bagh Palace was no match for Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s “sheesh mahal”. On Wednesday, while attacking the Aam Aadmi Party over the pace of development projects in Delhi, Puri said the renovated residence of the Delhi CM in Civil Lines, which he dubbed as “sheesh mahal” a day before, had “an opulence about it”.
India’s G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant is on a spiritual spree nowadays. Last week, Kant visited Kasar Devi temple in Uttarakhand. Among other things, the temple is famous because great personalities like Swami Vivekananda had visited the shrine and meditated there in the 1890s. During his visit, Kant, too, did the ‘darshan’ and meditated at the temple.
