Journalism of Courage
Meena Deshpande and Mohan Dharia will be awarded with Kelkar Granthottejak Paritoshik on Thursday. The award is given in the memory of legendary writer late N C Kelkar who was former editor and trusty of Kesari.
Deshpande will receive the award for her novel Hutatma,Dharia will be awarded for his autobiography Sangharshmay Safar. The awards ceremony will be held on N C Kelkars 63 rd death anniversary on October 14. President of All India Marathi Literary Meet D B Kulkarni will be the chief guest for the function. Deepak Tilak will preside over the programme. Rajkamal Potdar,dean of nursing department of SNDT University will be awarded with the Vidnyannisht Prabodhan award. The award is given in the memory of late R V Vardekar,who was also former trusty of Kesari.
