The Pune Division of the Central Railway has informed that train services will be suspended on Saturday for 35 minutes in order to carry out work of removal of redundant DC interconnector switches from Kamshet DC substation. Hence,during this period local trains will be cancelled which are as follows: L-18 Pune- Lonavala local which leaves Pune at 1 pm,will be cancelled between Talegaon and Lonavala. L-13 Lonavala Pune local which leaves Lonavala at 3.25 pm will be cancelled between Lonavala andTalegaon.
Meanwhile,the railway administration has also said that women commuters can avail helpline no- 9503013705- that had been started last year with the intention of poviding security and safety to women passengers travelling between Pune to Lonavala in local trains. Railway Protection Force,Pune Division of Central Railway has started this helpline. ENS
