The traffic police has announced traffic diversions for facilitating the construction of the subway at Good Luck Chowk.
A subway is being constructed at Good Luck Chowk for the safety of pedestrians,given the high traffic density of the area.
As Good luck Chowk is situated in the central part of the city it is not possible to stop the traffic completely at that spot,a press release from the department stated. The work will first start from Good Luck Chowk,so all vehicles coming from Garware bridge and heading towards Bhandarkar road will be stopped till the work is completed. So,people who wish to go from Garware bridge towards Bhandarkar road should take the Deccan Gymkhana Road or the Road opposite Hong Kong lane and use the Devghar path or the Tatyasaheb Talim junction to go to Bhandarkar Road,the release said.
