The diesel version of Corolla Altis from Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKM) was officially launched at DSK Toyota Hadapsar showroom recently.
Toyota Kirloskar Motors has 41 per cent market stakes in the Indian automotive market for the premium segment. Looking at the increasing demand,TKM has launched the diesel version. The Corolla Altis would be available at all our facilities across eight districts, said DS Kulkarni,chiarman and managing director, DSK Group.
The Corolla Altis is available with a newly developed 1.4L in-line 4-cylinder D-4D Common Rail Diesel Engine that generates a peak power of 88.4 PS and a peak torque of 205 Nm. The D-4D engine is complemented by a 6-Speed Manual Transmission,to provide flat torque that would lead to better fuel efficiency. It has got differentiating sporty mesh grille,better aerodynamic characteristics,and best ground clearance, said a press release issued here on Tuesday.
The cars ex-showroom price is Rs. 10,89,000 in Pune and is available in seven colors informed.
