Aiming high
Vodafone India donated Rs 17 Lakhs to Lotus Medical Foundation,a Kolhapur-based NGO. As part of their CSR activity,the company employees from the Maharashtra and Goa circle collected an amount of Rs 8.5 Lakhs through a list of activities such as auctioning of paintings by the employees,fund fairs and so on. The remaining amount was donated by the Vodafone India. The company also chose 25 employees from all over India who went to the NGO and served the patients there for a period of eight weeks. The NGO works for the HIV-affected patients in Kolhapur.
