An unidentified person who had come to a jewellery shop on Sinhagad Road on the pretext of selecting an ornament allegedly decamped with a gold chain worth Rs 70,000 on Wednesday. Babulal Pannalal Parmar of Vadgaon Budruk,who owns the jewellery shop near Panmala,registered a complaint at Dattawadi police station. Assistant inspector P N Wakchaure is investigating the case.
