Exercise Trishul concludes on Saurashtra Coast with full-spectrum land–sea–air integration

Exercise Trishul, undertaken by the Pune-headquartered Southern Command as the first large scale tri-services military along the Western border since Operation Sindoor in May, concluded with a joint amphibious exercise on Thursday, validating dominance in virtual and physical domains with full-spectrum land–sea–air integration.

Exercise Trishul featured large-scale multi-domain manoeuvres across the Western Seaboard, the Desert Sector, and the Rann and Creek Sector, demonstrating Tri-Services synergy and mission-oriented integration.
“The Army Commander embarked onboard INS Jalashwa and reviewed the operational readiness of Amphibious Forces of the Bison division of Sudarshan Chakra corps along with Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Naval Command, and Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief South Western Air Command. He oversaw the launch of the first Infantry platoon with tanks by Landing Craft Mechanised (LCM) during the opening wave of beaching operations,” the Army said in a statement.
The Amphibious Landing Operations demonstrated seamless coordination between ground forces, naval platforms, and air assets, validating the Armed Forces’ capability to project combat power from sea to land under realistic operational conditions.
The exercise witnessed a fusion of technology and integrated employment of infantry, mechanised elements, and innovative employment of drones.
“Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth commended the professionalism, jointsmanship, and interoperability displayed by all soldiers, sailors, and air warriors participating in the exercise. The successful conduct of Exercise Trishul reaffirms India’s joint combat readiness, integrated multi-domain and multi-spectrum capabilities, technology absorption, and the Armed Forces’ enduring commitment to Atmanirbhar Bharat,” the statement said.

From cyber warfare to drone combat, from electronic warfare to amphibious operations, Exercise Trishul was held from the Thar desert to the Kutch sector along the Western Border. Exercise Trishul was launched around a month ago and covered electronic warfare, cyber, drone, counter-drone operations, and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), as well as air defence control and reporting.
The exercise was aimed at reaffirming tri-service preparedness to dominate virtual and physical domains through seamless land, sea, and air integration for coordinated joint operations.
