Mumbai-based physician Shashank R Joshi received the International Clinician Award at the 21st American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) Annual Scientific & Clinical Congress held in Philadelphia on May 27. Joshi is a faculty member of endocrinology at Grant Medical College and is a consulting endocrinologist at Lilavati Hospital. The International Clinician Award is given to a clinical endocrinologist practising outside the US every year. It is an honour to be recognised by AACE. I will strive to continue excellence in the field of endocrinology, Joshi said.
