Firing outside Salman Khan’s house: 3 remanded to further custody

THREE MEN arrested in the Salman Khan firing case have been remanded to further custody of the police till May 8. The police recently invoked charges against them under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).

Four of the arrested men were therefore produced before a special court on Monday.

The Mumbai police sought their custody stating that they want to further probe the case and inquire into the whereabouts of the other absconding accused. One of the accused, Sonu Bishnoi, was sent to judicial custody on health-related grounds.

The three others, including Vicky Gupta, Sagar Pal-who are alleged to have been the shooters-and Anujkumar Thapan, who was arrested last week, have been sent to police custody till May 8.
