Prakash Ambedkar meets CM Shinde, demands action against ‘real mastermind’ of Akola, Shevgaon clashes

He further said, “There was a report where apprehensions about possible communal tensions were expressed. I do not have a copy of the report. But my information is based on something credible.”

Talking about his meeting with CM Shinde, the VBA leader said: “I urged the chief minister to crack the whip on the real mastermind behind these communal riots.”

Although he refrained from naming any political party for the riots, Ambedkar said: “The Karnataka Assembly polls have shown politics of riots and violence does not help. Gone are the days when riots were used as convenient tools to polarize society.”
