Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi president Prakash Ambedkar met Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in Mumbai Wednesday.
Ambedkar later said, “My meeting with the CM was regarding the riots that took place at Akola and Shevgaon in Ahmednagar district.”

He further said, “There was a report where apprehensions about possible communal tensions were expressed. I do not have a copy of the report. But my information is based on something credible.”
