Platform widening work: Trains originating, terminating from Dadar extended up to Parel

The existing length of Dadar platform no. 1 is 270 metres and width is 7 metres.

Trains originating and terminating from Platform no.1 and 2 of Dadar station of the Central Railway will be extended up to Parel from September 15, due to platform-widening work.

A total of 11 pairs of services, all slow locals, originating/terminating from Dadar will henceforth begin/end from Parel station starting from Friday.

To facilitate the crowd, CR has undertaken the Dadar platform no.1 widening work at a cost of Rs 1 crore. Whereas Platform no. 2 has been closed.

The existing length of Dadar platform no. 1 is 270 metres and width is 7 metres.

It has been decided to increase the width from the existing 7 metres to 10.5 metres. The work will begin from Friday, and is expected to take two months.
